Malibu Anniversary

Last year my hubby planned a very special anniversary getaway for both of us. He took me to Malibu and we spent the whole day driving around and then finish up in one of Malibu’s notable restaurants, the Geoffrey’s. The restaurant is situated overlooking the ocean that utterly sets up a splendid mood. The setting is magnificent and the food is quite not impressive... but I still like it.:)

I ordered Baked Brie in Puff pastry served with Pear Chutney, Beurre Blanc, Roasted Pine nuts (and all that jazz!)…and for the main course I had Paella. Lastly, I had some Classic Geoffrey’s Crème Brulee which is sinfully, absolutely, oh so good! So perfect to end your meal. Geoffrey's is kind of pricey but with its stunning view of the ocean...who would say No to this romantic spot?

Malibu is so lovely...and cruising along the Pacific Coast Highway was simply breathtaking. I remember we were caught up in traffic while heading to the restaurant and I was stunned to see all the Rolls Royces, Bentlys, and other luxury cars everywhere. I had so much fun, thanks to my dear hubby. <3<3<3

What a wonderful getaway! I wish I could afford it, hahaha!

As to your question whether Malaysia is better than the Phils, well both have its good and bad sides. It's nice to be a tourist at other countries but it's always great to be back to your home country because as the cliche goes, "there's no place like home".

Thank you heaps for the visit at my TT entries.

See yah!
