I’m a stay at home mom who tries to do something that interests her (i.e. writing or blogging) apart from being a wife/mom. I love to shop and awfully fixated with beauty stuff like makeup, skincare and the likes. I am not a pro of some sort but I just have a passion with girly stuff.

This is a personal blog written and edited by me. Everything I choose to write or review is based on my own personal experiences whether it is a product or not. Being a Tech Support myself!

I have had my HP Pavilion for almost 4 years now and the whole time I had it I never had a problem using the built-in SD card reader. It has been a life saver for me from not using those long and winding cables or cords that came with cameras and camcorders. A month ago after the big move from California to Kansas, I tried using my card reader again but it won't work! I didn't bother fixing it that time because I was busy with the new house and all that jazz. :D But anyway, yesterday I tried using it again but with no luck. I was desperate I had to fix it! Or else I'd be damned using cables from now on. After a long day of researching online about how to fix it, I ended up uninstalling the SD Card reader driver. Windows detected the hardware right away so it just started reinstalling the driver. To make sure the troubleshooting would take effect, I restarted my laptop. I did these same steps for few times but it never worked. But for some reason, I tried these steps again but this time after restarting my laptop I opened Media Center first and then....Bamm!! The card reader light went on and started blinking, it is also reading my sd card and its working! I'm so proud of myself...lol! Pats myself. I think what caused it to fail is I would usually leave the card in the slot and sometimes I don't safely remove it. But anyhoo, lessons learned.

First time winner!

I'm a Youtube addict. I watch everything, funny videos, stupid, nonsense, movies, fashion related and most of all, about beauty. At first I am just an avid fan of those beauty gurus and I only enjoy watching their videos. But I never thought some people on youtube would make some giveaways and gifts to give out to their viewers as a sign of appreciation for watching their vids. I have joined a few contests and never got lucky. Until one morning when I woke up, I checked youtube from my ipod touch and to my surprise...For the first time in my entire life, I won!! I still can't believe it! ( Because I never win in whatever contests I join ) It's basically from one of the contests that I joined, and it was so simple because all you need to do is post a comment on that video and the winners will be chosen randomly. I joined xteeener's contest and the prize was $50 worth of gift certificate from Sigma or Sigmabeauty.com. So, I guess everybody has their own share of luck. ~ Thanks xteeener!! ELF Professional set brushes & Studio brushes

I've had these brushes for a couple of years now. Elf products are known for their affordable makeup and brushes , you can never go wrong with it. All brushes have synthetic hair and are cruelty free which is great! I have no complaints in using some of these E.l.f. brushes, especially the eye shadow brushes which really works great.

I was disappointed in their 'Total face brush', though..the same thing with blushing/bronzing blush. These brushes sheds, gritty in a way, and the dye on the bristles started coming off the first and 2nd time I washed it. So far I haven't washed them since 'coz I never used them anymore. It looks and feels cheap in my opinion. I used it once but I didn't like it, so it's just laying on my vanity for display. Overall, it's not a bad brush for the price, and it is a great brush for those just starting out with makeup, or those that want an Ok brush without paying a lot.


Just recently I purchased a few of their new line of brushes, it was a lot better than the old one. I just had to spend an extra $2 for each ELF Studio brush. This time each brushes are more dense and smooth on the face as you apply makeup or foundation. I'm just talking in general here... yes, I am satisfied with the quality. I also like how professional it looks, great design since its all black brush and handle, and compact brushes. I'm also loving their Stipple brush, I get a flawless finish to my foundation when I use it! That's what we all beauty conscious gals wanted, right?! :D

Hello world!!

I'm back to blogging! I'm kinda having second thoughts on creating a new blog because I don't know if I could write more often and devote at least a quarter of my time on it. And that's the reason why I deleted a couple of my old blogs.... no time. After having a baby, most of my time goes to taking care of our baby (since my husband was deployed nearly all year). I'm a stay home mom/wife but that doesn't end my being a dainty woman. *winks* Anyhoo, the main reason of creating this blog is to post some pictures and share some beauty stuff such as make ups, skin cares and the likes, and hopefully do some product reviews as well.
